Following is the IPL team tally as of today after Bangalore taking over Delhi in today's IPL Match:

2.) Current Run rate is taken into consideration.

Delhi is already qualified for the Semi Finals.

In the above projection, Rajasthan's loss/tie break with Kolkata are identical. So, the probability to qualify for the semi-final is:

Chennai: 8/8 (100%)
Hyderabad: 5/8 (62.5%)
Bangalore: 5/8 (62.5%)
Punjab: 4/8 (50%)
Rajasthan: 2/8 (25%)

Based on the above probability, Semi-final would be:

Delhi V/s Bangalore (1 V/s 4)
Chennai V/s Hyderabad (2 V/s 3)

Right to Information Act, 2005

We are all tax payers. Even a beggar walking on road pays sales tax when he buys something from the market. It's all our money what get's utilized (or at least is officially being said to be utilized) in all central and state government programs, projects. But then where really all this money goes? why the government hospitals do not have proper medical facilities? why poor people are dying of hunger? why the roads are in pathetic conditions? Why we civilians, the so called Aam Junta, are not benefited by all these programs initiated by State and National Governments?

This Right to Information act gives us right to ask any questions of such sort to the government body. This is an act to provide for setting out the practical regime of right to information for citizens to secure access to information under the control of public authorities, in order to promote transparency and accountability in the working of every public authority, the Constitution of a Central Information Commission and State Information Commissions and for matters connected therewith.

This act gives us authority to access the records which are held by or under the control of any public authority and includes the right to -

1. Inspection of work, document and records
2. Taking notes, extracts or certified copies of documents or records
3. Taking certified samples or material
4. Obtaining information in terms of diskettes, floppies, tapes, video cassettes or in any other electronic mode or through print outs where such information is stored in a computer or some other device.
   

Much has been illustrated and elaborated by various people at various places regarding the use of this act by the masters of Government i.e. we, the people. But then RTI alone seems not enough, Real Democracy will come with people able to govern their own areas. Thus, moving more and more from representative to direct democracy.

When the idea will be to handover responsibility to the people, who will govern their areas through general bodies consisting of approximately 1000 families. By localizing the power and responsibilities, political apathy will be done away with. Also these general bodies should have the right to sack municipal officials who do not do their job in providing road repairing, clean water supply and proper electricity supply.

If, ever that will be thought of, will take a long time to take place. For the time being RTI is what we really have and can be used positively. For more information on RTI log on to http://righttoinformation.gov.in/

I, Me, Kanpur & Indian Hockey

So back again with intentions to write something...and having really nothing.

By the way, in the mean time DM of Kanpur City Mr Anil Sagar, with the help of IT Professionals took an initiative to develop Kanpur city website, Anyone interested visit it on http://kanpurnagar.gov.in/index.html

As of now, i am feeling just the same as was 2-3 months earlier. Nothing has really changed or sorted out in order to make me feel good. I am still on my pursuit to search for HappYness. Let's see when and where will i reach by the time i will be a bit happY.

Recently visited a sort of museum near Nehru Planetarium, Worli, Mumbai. The site was beautiful and architecture was awesome. One complete floor with models & beautiful stuff was representing the Emerging India and it's history. The depictions and models for Lal Quila, Taj Mahal were so awesome that if you haven't visited those places, yet those will give you a brief detailing of the same with some useful supplementary information. That's all about the visit.

Now coming back to myself, I still do not have my voter ID :(

I worked out for it, filled up form 4, Form 6 and whatever attachments are needed, but unfortunately i was late by a few days and any inclusions in the Electoral Rolls for this year Lok Sabha Elections were closed by then atleast for my respective constituency. So won't be able to use my vote this time. Nothing coming up my mind, so let it end. That's all for now.

P.S. This very moment, got the news that INDIA has won Azlan Shah Hockey Tournament after beating Malaysia. So 3 cheers for Indian Hockey, Happy days are back again for them. :)

A full moon-month has passed before i am here once again to write out something. Basically i was really busy figuring out what i am really busy with....the on-going company projects, my bloody hectic job or just nothing. Yes, i have figured it out just this moment. It's NOTHING what has kept me busy since long.
